Surely, you have severe headaches or nosebleed thinking about the Math question from Singapore Math that went viral yesterday. People may have solved it but at the end of the day, the challenge afforded the people more reason to hate Math. The Math problem that went viral is really hard to the average or even above average students and adults. I doubt if a lot of people will smile upon learning the correct answer.
Math is logic. It is a way of thinking. But what if we make challenging Math questions like this (below), the Filipino way. Mind boggling, challenging but fun. Surely, you will smile when you know the answer. This is Math applied to daily living.

The one peso does not actually exist because of the erroneous process. The correct process is 50 + 50 = 97 + 1 +1 + 1;
49 + 49 = 97 + 1;
98 = 98.

To the department store because the t-shirt cost Php97.00 and when you add all the money that you have after you bought the t-shirt is Php3.00 and you give Php2.00 to your parents so you now have Php1.00. So when you add all of your money is 97+2+1=100 so the one peso is in the department store.
